I am a former educator and trained editor specializing in fiction and academic nonfiction. I am on the editorial rosters of publishers including Penguin Random House, the University of California Press, Broadleaf Books, and Fortress Press.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • University of California San Diego Copyediting Certificate earned June 2017
  • Excellent command of the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th and 18th editions; Associated Press Stylebook; and SBL Handbook of Style
  • Experience editing in Microsoft Word using custom templates, Word macros, and wildcards to automate repetitive tasks
  • Experience editing tables, illustrations, citations, and full bibliographies
  • Extensive experience editing authors for whom English is a second language
